Design Roofing Corp. is a family owned business, Tony Geraci CEO and owner moved to South Florida from up state New York in 1980. Tony had worked as a sub contractor in New York in the building trade. Consequently he did not find it very difficult to find work in a flourishing economy in South Florida in the 1980's For the next few years he worked for two major companies, as a licensed sub contractor installing roofing and hurricane shutters, as well as doing general contracting.
In 1984 Tony decided to start his own company, Design Home Remodeling Inc. His first choice of sub contractors an old friend and working acquaintance Al Seara, who eventually became the head of operations in the southern most location , which is in Homestead Florida.
In 2000 Tony decided to start Design Roofing Corp. and strickly do roofing. The new opportunity became to much to handle, consequently he brought in his brother Cliff to run the Palm Beach operation. Cliff is a state certified roofing contractor as well. Due to the fact that Tony has been in construction since 1980, he has a good reputation, and does not have a difficult time finding quality employees. Some of the crews are second generation roofers.
After Wilma had decimated South Florida, Tony realized he needed to upgrade the staff. At this time he decided to upgrade the sales staff, realizing that a professional sales person would better handle the problems created by trying times, such as returning phone calls , and in general giving the customer information reguarding their particular situation.
The company has sustained a substantial growth cycle in the past four years and is continuing to do so because the owner has great vision. The customers feel a personal touch from Tony because he takes the time to personally inspect every job. Many of the customers are impressed with the fact that they actually see the owner come out and inspect their roof. Design Roofing is an active member of the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce also the North Miami Chamber. The company is also a member of BNI International and LeTip International which are professional business organazations.
